Description

Polished rod load analysis using simplified static method. Calculates fluid load, peak and minimum polished rod loads for rod pump design.

Parameters:

  • Ap: Plunger area (in2)
  • H: Fluid level above pump (ft)
  • G: Fluid pressure gradient (psi/ft)
  • Wrf: Buoyant rod weight (lb)
How to use this blueprint
  1. In Excel, go to the Petroleum Office ribbon tab and click Blueprint Manager
  2. Search for Polished Rod Load Analysis
  3. Click on the blueprint to preview the spreadsheet template
  4. Click Insert to place it into your worksheet. Modify the input values to match your data.
