Description

Pumping unit torque analysis. Calculates counterbalance requirements, peak torque, and polished rod horsepower for rod pump systems.

Parameters:

  • PPRL: Peak polished rod load (lb)
  • MPRL: Minimum polished rod load (lb)
  • S: Surface stroke length (in)
  • N: Pumping speed (SPM)
  • CBEa: Actual counterbalance effect (lb)
How to use this blueprint
  1. In Excel, go to the Petroleum Office ribbon tab and click Blueprint Manager
  2. Search for Pumping Unit Torque Analysis
  3. Click on the blueprint to preview the spreadsheet template
