Description

Erosion velocity analysis using API RP 14E methodology. Calculates erosional velocity limit, actual mixture velocity, erosion ratio, and risk classification for multiphase pipelines.

Parameters:

  • rho_g: Gas density at flowing conditions (lb/ft³)
  • rho_L: Liquid density (lb/ft³)
  • lambda_g: Gas void fraction (0-1)
  • Qg: Gas volumetric rate (ft³/s)
  • QL: Liquid volumetric rate (ft³/s)
  • ID: Pipe internal diameter (in)
  • C: API 14E C factor (100 for continuous, 125 for intermittent)
How to use this blueprint
  1. In Excel, go to the Petroleum Office ribbon tab and click Blueprint Manager
