Reservoir Drive Mechanism Indices

Description

Calculate drive mechanism indices to identify the dominant energy source driving oil production. Drive indices sum to 1.0 and indicate relative contribution of each mechanism.

Drive Mechanisms:

  • DDI: Depletion Drive Index (solution gas)
  • GDI: Gas Cap Drive Index
  • WDI: Water Drive Index
  • CDI: Compressibility Drive Index

Required Functions

PO.MBE.Drives.DDI

Calculates Depletion Drive Index (DDI), [fraction 0-1]. DDI = N*Eo / F.

PO.MBE.Drives.GDI

Calculates Gas Cap Drive Index (GDI), [fraction 0-1]. GDI = N*m*Eg / F.

PO.MBE.Drives.WDI

Calculates Water Drive Index (WDI), [fraction 0-1]. WDI = We / F.

PO.MBE.Drives.CDI

Calculates Compressibility Drive Index (CDI), [fraction 0-1]. CDI = N*Efw / F.

How to use this blueprint
