Description

Calculate drive mechanism indices to identify the dominant energy source driving oil production. Drive indices sum to 1.0 and indicate relative contribution of each mechanism.

Drive Mechanisms:

  • DDI: Depletion Drive Index (solution gas)
  • GDI: Gas Cap Drive Index
  • WDI: Water Drive Index
  • CDI: Compressibility Drive Index
How to use this blueprint
  1. In Excel, go to the Petroleum Office ribbon tab and click Blueprint Manager
  2. Search for Reservoir Drive Mechanism Indices
  3. Click on the blueprint to preview the spreadsheet template
