PO.SCAL.Corey.Krow Function
Description:
Calculates Corey-type oil relative permeability, [dimensionless].
Excel Function Syntax:
=PO.SCAL.Corey.Krow(Sw, Swi, Sorw, Krow_Swi, No)
Parameters:
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Sw | Water saturation, [fraction]. |
| Swi | Irreducible (minimal) water saturation, [fraction]. |
| Sorw | Residual (minimal) oil saturation after water flooding, [fraction]. |
| Krow_Swi | End point of oil relative permeability, usually equals 1, [dimensionless]. |
| No | Corey oil exponent, [dimensionless]. |
Used in Blueprints
Corey Relative Permeability Curves
Generate oil-water relative permeability curves using the Corey power-law model. This simple model requires only endpoint values and exponents, making it ideal for screening studies.
Relative Permeability Model Comparison
Compare relative permeability predictions from Corey, LET, and Honarpour correlations. Model selection affects waterflood performance predictions.
Stone Three-Phase Relative Permeability
Calculate three-phase oil relative permeability using Stone I and Stone II models. These models combine two-phase water-oil and gas-oil data to predict oil mobility when all three phases are present.
