Description

Calculate effective compressibility for different reservoir types. Effective compressibility is critical for material balance and pressure buildup analysis.

Compressibility Types:

  • Undersaturated Oil: Above bubble point, single-phase
  • Gas: Standard gas reservoir
  • Geopressured: Abnormally high pressure, includes rock/water effects
  • Total System: Combined fluid and rock compressibility
How to use this blueprint
  1. In Excel, go to the Petroleum Office ribbon tab and click Blueprint Manager
  2. Search for Effective Compressibility Calculations
  3. Click on the blueprint to preview the spreadsheet template
  4. Click Insert to place it into your worksheet. Modify the input values to match your data.
