PO.SCAL.LET.Krw Function

Description:

Calculates LET-type water relative permeability, [dimensionless].

Excel Function Syntax:

=PO.SCAL.LET.Krw(Sw, Swi, Sorw, Krw_Sorw, Lw, Ew, Tw)

Parameters:

Parameter Description
Sw Water saturation, [fraction].
Swi Irreducible (minimal) water saturation, [fraction].
Sorw Residual (minimal) oil saturation after water flooding, [fraction].
Krw_Sorw End point of water relative permeability, [dimensionless].
Lw Empirical constant describes the lower part of the curve, [dimensionless].
Ew Parameter E describes the position of the slope (or the elevation) of the curve, [dimensionless].
Tw Empirical constant describes the upper part of the curve, [dimensionless].

Used in Blueprints

LET Relative Permeability Curves

Generate oil-water relative permeability curves using the LET (Lomeland-Ebeltoft-Thomas) correlation. This model offers more flexibility than Corey for matching laboratory data.

Relative Permeability Model Comparison

Compare relative permeability predictions from Corey, LET, and Honarpour correlations. Model selection affects waterflood performance predictions.
