Description:

Gas flow rate at sonic (critical) conditions, [Mscf/d]. Rate independent of downstream pressure.

Excel Function Syntax:

=PO.SF.CH.Gas.SonicRate(P_up, d_choke, SG_gas, T, Cd, k)

Parameters:

Parameter	Description
P_up	Upstream pressure, [psia].
d_choke	Choke diameter, [inches].
SG_gas	Gas specific gravity (air=1).
T	Upstream temperature, [degF].
Cd	Discharge coefficient.
k	Specific heat ratio (Cp/Cv).
