OutletPressureBeggsBrill
Description:
Calculates outlet pipe pressure for multiphase pipe flow using Beggs and Brill (1973) correlation, [psia]. Can be applied for any wellbore inclination and flow direction.
Excel Function Syntax:
=OutletPressureBeggsBrill(Ql, Rho_l, Ul, Qg, SGgas, IFTgl, pipeID, pipeLength, pipeRoughness, pipeAngle, P_in, T)
Parameters:
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Ql | Liquid rate, [bbl/d]. |
| Rho_l | Liquid density, [lb/ft3]. |
| Ul | Liquid viscosity, [cP]. |
| Qg | Gas rate, [mmscf/d]. |
| SGgas | Gas specific gravity, [dimensionless]. |
| IFTgl | Liquid-gas interfacial (surface) tension, [dynes/cm]. |
| pipeID | Pipe inner diameter, [in]. |
| pipeLength | Pipe length, [ft]. |
