Description:

Calculates outlet pipe pressure for multiphase pipe flow using Beggs and Brill (1973) correlation, [psia]. Can be applied for any wellbore inclination and flow direction.

Excel Function Syntax:

Parameters:

IFTglLiquid-gas interfacial (surface) tension, [dynes/cm].
pipeIDPipe inner diameter, [in].
pipeLengthPipe length, [ft].
pipeRoughnessPipe relative roughness, [dimensionless].
pipeAnglePipe angle from horizontal, [degrees]. Horizontal flow: angle = 0; Vertical well producer: angle = 90; Vertical well injector: angle = -90.
P_inInlet pipe pressure, [psia].
TTemperature at middle point of the pipe, [degF].
