Settings and Updates
Everything configurable lives behind one button. On the Petroleum Office tab, in the Settings group, click Settings.
The dialog lists its panels down the side, with related ones grouped together:

Content and Add-in sit together under an Updates heading — expand it if you do not see them listed directly.
Checking Your Version
Open Settings → Updates → Add-in. It shows the version you are running and checks whether a newer release exists, so you can tell at a glance whether you are behind.
If an update is available, the panel offers a Download action that opens the download page. Installing is the same process as a first install — the download page has the installer, and the Change Log lists what each release contains.
There is no Check for Updates button on the ribbon. There used to be, and it was removed once this panel shipped, because the panel answers the question the button only linked to. If a guide or an old note points you at a ribbon button, this panel is where it went.
Refreshing Content
The Updates → Content panel refreshes the catalogs the add-in browses — functions, lambdas and blueprints.
The catalogs ship with the add-in and are also served from the website, so a refresh picks up content added since your version was installed without waiting for the next release. Use it if the website shows something the Function Browser or Blueprint Manager does not.
Refreshing does not change any calculation, and it does not touch your workbook. If a refresh does not surface what you expected, the content may genuinely require a newer add-in version — check Updates → Add-in for an update.
About
About reports the version and build details of what is installed. It is the fastest way to answer "which version are you on?" when reporting a problem, and worth quoting in any support message.
Product Feedback
Product Feedback sends a comment or problem report to us from inside Excel, which saves gathering version details by hand.
For anything needing a reply — a licence question, a wrong result, an install that will not complete — contact support instead, so there is a thread to answer on.
